The government of West Bengal has taken step to improve the life and status of the girls the name of this project is kanyashree prakalpa. This scheme launched by mamata Banerjee in October 2013. It is the scheme for the benefit of female students reading in classes 8 to 12. The aim of this project is to help the girl children with cash. So that can continue their studies. The girls aged between 13 to 18 years eligible for this project.

They will get 750 per-year beside a one time Grant of rs25,000 is given to the girls. When they are 18 years old. A girl should remain under unmarried and continue her study for getting this grant.this scheme the dropout rate of the girls in the schools has been reduced. The number of girls children in the school has been increased.

Prevent girl child marriage it has a great benefit more. It really helps to a woman student to stop immature marriage. They can continue their reading as she wishes. In our modern and everyday life, a woman should have education properly. Especially several thanks go to mamata Banerjee for her ideal foot step. This project was undertaken by the west Bengal government with the help of UNICEF. The number of students enrolling under the scheme become near about 16 lakhs by the end of 2013 the enrolling process was very simple and systematic. The primary aim of the team was to divide ten to 12 thousand students among the 270 schools of the city. 
The name list was prepared and handed over to the borough chairman. Then the form was to be downloaded from the official site and the school used to distribute the forms among the students in the initial days. Its pace a little less but as the time flowed it slowly became a huge success. It was a dream with long-term effects. After the launch of this scheme west Bengal became the leader in the above mentioned ground. The percentage of girl dropout has gone down to a large extent. Girls are mentally becoming more strong and fighting against their marriage in an inappropriate age.

Expect this award these scheme wins so many national and international awards.Therefore, kanyashree becomes "Biswashree" internationally Mamata Banerjee launched the scheme named kanyashree in Netaji indoor stadium.
